Welcome to the Chico to China ~ 2007 Zoho WikiThis
wiki/blog will be used to assist in the California State University,
Chico summer China program. Here you will find journals of some of the
students as well as information pages that range from class assignments
to interactive maps and photos.
As a member of the Wiki group
you will be able to create and edit content on this site. You will need
to send an email request to David Donica
if you would like to join in the group. Group membership is restricted to the instructor and those traveling to China. If you do not wish to create
and edit your own information, you can still post "comments" on any
page in this site. This will work great for friends and family who
want to follow along during our trip and also check back afterwards.
If you choose to become a member of the group you will need to create a Zoho Wiki account (once you have notified David Donica and he has added you to the group). This is a free account and all you will need to do is use the same email account you gave David to setup your membership. Zoho is a organization from India which has several great "Web 2.0" products that run from the internet and are available for free. They include; spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, wikis, an much more.
On the right side of each page on the web site is an area with links to various locations on the site. At the top is "Quick Search" that can be used to search this site. Just below is a group of links to make navigation easy. The Site Navigation page has been created to group the site into the different areas. This is usually the best place to start when moving around on the site. The Map - Chico to China, Photos - Picasa, and Time & Date Converter are links to areas not on this site.
